Joe Wood

Joe Wood is the owner and founder of Prime Coat Painting. As a rescue swimmer in the U.S. Coast Guard, Joe has spent years dedicated to service and excellence—values he now brings to every home and project he undertakes.

Joe has always found purpose in hard work and hands-on service. From his lawn care business as a teenager, he evolved into an exterior painter. It was a natural step for someone who takes pride in completing a job well and helping others enhance their spaces.

Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint or a full transformation, Joe is dedicated to delivering quality craftsmanship and dependable service.

When he’s not on the job, you’ll find Joe enjoying time with his girlfriend, Hannah, or staying active at the gym. His commitment to discipline and service doesn’t stop at work; it’s part of who he is.

Our Process

1. Consultation & Estimate

We begin with a detailed walkthrough of your property to understand your goals and assess the scope of work. You’ll receive a clear, written estimate with no surprises.

2. Preparation

Proper prep is key to a lasting finish. We power wash surfaces, scrape away peeling paint, sand where needed, and replace siding as needed. We also mask windows, protect landscaping, and caulk gaps for a clean, sealed surface.

3. Priming

If needed, we apply high-quality primer to ensure strong adhesion and even color coverage, especially on bare wood or repaired areas.

4. Painting

Using premium, weather-resistant paints, our experienced team applies even coats with professional tools and techniques. We match your color choice perfectly and pay attention to every detail for a flawless result.

5. Final Inspection & Cleanup

Once painting is complete, we walk through the job with you to ensure complete satisfaction. We remove all coverings, thoroughly clean the site, and leave your exterior spotless and beautiful.
